What is it about summer and the projects that get started seem to take on a life of its own? This summer we decided the garage floor needed replacing. Ok, it was a gravel pit. So the floor gets replaced and it looks like a million bucks, then you look at the 3 walls and door and think, I can't leave it this way. The walls are painted, garage door has a new coat of paint and all of the hinges are cleaned. Floor has that great looking epoxy stuff on it. Disguised the terrible looking ceiling and it looks like a great party room!
Before.....
After.....
Our garage was not pretty when we bought the house 20+ years ago. It's amazing what a new floor and a little paint will do!
I am still plugging away at my quilting UFO's. I will certainly have a couple of plastic tubs loaded with goodies for my family at Thanksgiving. Another quilt has come back from the quilter and is ready for binding. Next time I will post pictures of the completed UFO's. Some of them go back 10 years.
Until then.....keep sewing!
